Hey man, he is God of all of our days each step we take is because of him. I just found it very touching God of all my days each step. I take this this week for some reason in my prayer time. It was just God. Thank you for the gift of today. Thank you for your creation and allowing me to be a part of it. You know, sometimes we take our days for granted. Our days are numbered and God doesn't owe us anything but he chooses to use us and he loves us and He blesses us everyday that we were alive. And when we take each step in him, we can have peace resting a sure that he's the one directing and leading and if we allow him to lead our steps cuz we have to allow it. Cuz she gives us that wheel to choose but when we allow him to lead our steps, then we can be in peace of entitled today's message. Where is peace? Because all we have to do is look around and all of us would agree that we live in a broken world. Would you raise your hand if you agree with that just TV news and you know, we also often look at those things and we talked about the world around us, but do you know each of us are living in a broken world? The amazing thing is God didn't originally created that away. He created a perfect world full of Hope full of Peace full of joy and pain full of love was put into the garden to work, but it didn't get in difficult until after the fall. You see God created this perfect world that he wanted where he walked with man and Adam and Eve chose to rebelled against God and when that happens they chose to make their way away from him and a separation came and guy came and put them out of that Garden in they entered that broken world and there's so many people trying to find peace in that broken world. You know, if we want peace then we must love Christ and I won't do it again to spell that out to you. Where is peace through our study today grab your bibles. If you open them to the Gospel of Luke chapter two, very familiar versus and once you've turn there if you would stand out of the honor of God and for a reading of his word Luke Chapter 2 will be beginning and verse 8

and Luke The Physician was riding in telling the story of Jesus's birth. And it said in the same region. There was some Shepherd staying at in the field and keeping watch over their flock by night and it Angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them and the glory of the Lord Shone around them and they were terribly frightened. But the angel said to them do not be afraid for behold. I bring you good news of great joy, which will be for all the people for today in the city of David. There has been born free USA savior, who is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign for you. You will find a baby wrapped in clothes and lying in a manger and suddenly they appear with the angel a multitude of the Heavenly Host praising God and saying glory to God in the highest and on Earth. Peace among men. He is pleased by the thank you for your word Lord. I pray now that you would help me step aside and that you allow Holy Spirit to fill me father. I pray for each one that's here listening today that you would help them to open their ears to you that father. Holy Spirit would give them that freedom that he would illuminate the words to us and father. We would not shut a deaf ear to you this morning father. Thank you. That we are able to prepare and peace for the coming again of your son Jesus father. I just pray everything in the precious and the most holy name of your son Jesus name m may be seated those Shepherds out in the field. We're watching in and I know we talked about this each time this year when we share but I would just love to see in can imagine being in the dark out at night time watching the sheep and it wasn't just an angel that appeared before them. It wasn't a little bitty store. It wasn't the full moon that lights up bright, but the glory of the Lord Shone when this Angel appeared to them and the power of that I am sure was terrifying. But the angel said he was bringing them good news, and that was one of Peace because a little baby in a chaotic World a little baby. rafting close or is some of your Bible say, we always heard this way wrapped in swaddling clothes just pieces of little Linens tour and wrapped around this little baby coming into such a big world to bring hope to bring peace Bring joy to bring love. It came to me that lie to the world, but he brought this piece but less of me. Let me take you back just a little bit so that we can understand why there was a need for peace. Cuz the question I posed to you as where is peace and then I told you that if we want peace and we must love Christ was take your Bibles and turn into the Old Testament to the book of Deuteronomy chapter 23. book of Deuteronomy chapter 23 and verse 14 Let me read to you. I want you to listen. Since the Lord your God walks in the midst of your Camp to deliver you and defeat your enemies before you throughout your Camp must be holy and he must not see anything indecent among you or he will turn away from you. The first thing I want you to see is peace is with God. God if you remember when we began he created a perfect world well because Adam and Eve chose to send they were put into a broken World. God has all along been trying to get people to understand that with him. There is peace, Adam and Eve had peace when they were walking in the garden with Jesus or with God Adam and Eve had peace until that broken this, and then hurricane and pain came and send came and the separation came and we see all throughout the Old Testament that is long is God's people were walking with him that were in peace this verse we just read showed how he was walking in the camp with them. He was helping them. You remember when God heard his people in bondage in Egypt and there was no peace in them and they were crying out he came and he died. For them and as they were walking with him they were in peace when they would chose to rebell then there was not peace when they were walking with God they were impeached and they would go through enemy territory and the enemy wouldn't mess with them when God was bringing them to the promised land flowing with milk and honey, and there were giants them and they said we can't do it. They wouldn't Walking with God they wasn't choosing to allow him to be with them and instead they spent those 40 years wandering in the wilderness when they came back there was peace with them and God always prepared the way when they went in the enemy was destroyed with God there was peace throughout all tests. So we began to see even if they came into the promised land in the nation of Israel had been formed there became still a state of discourse when they would choose to be with God. In the time of BC 9:30 Israel was a nation one whole nation, but because they were not following God enemies came in and they began to fight against each other and they began under roll bones rain. Be remember we had King Saul King David King Solomon and then his son ribald since they were beginning to turn away from God this one nation. That was God's with piece broke into two. There was Discord, they become a northern kingdom that had some Mary and there was a southern Kingdom. We call it Judah and that's where Jerusalem was God's people now divide it amongst ourselves because it was no. Peace cuz they were choosing to rebell But it goes from even then when they became that away in 722 few hundred years later the Assyrians came in and they conquered the Northern Kingdom of Israel. Let me just read to you these two versus one out of 2nd Kings 17, then the king of Assyria and dated all the land and came to Samaria. And for three years. He besieged it in the ninth year of Hosea the king of Assyria captured Samaria, and he carried the Israelites away to Samaria and place them in Hawaii. And on the Harbor of the river of gozen and in the city of the means God's people captured. Taken away no. Peace because they were choosing to rebell and not letting God direct every step of the way. They didn't allow God to be the God of all their days. They were rebelling 2nd Kings 17 13 yet the Lord warned Israel and Judah do all his profits and every Sears saying turn from your evil ways and keep my Commandments my statutes according to all the law which I commanded you fathers and which I sent to you through my servants the prophets. God loved his people. God was trying everything he could he was sending prophets at Work men and that day that would hear from God and they would go and they would give them messages and he would pass down through their fathers and all these ways. He's trying to get them to understand. Let me be the God of all your days love me and you can have pieced follow me. I am the way but we know all for the Old Testament that they were back and forth. And because of that ruler after ruler after ruler coming in NH ruler got worse and worse. And secondly where we're looking for peace not only is peace with God but pieces with Jesus. You see at the time that Jesus came there were Kings over wrong and they were causing on peace in specially for the Israelites the taxation. We've heard the stories. The taxation was strong as look at John Chapter 14 verse 23 through 27. John chapter 14

Jesus answered and said to him if anyone loves me, he will keep my word and my father will love him and he will come to him and make a boat with him. He does not love me does not keep my words and the word with you here is not mine. But the father who sent me these things I have spoken to you while abiding with you, but the helper the Holy Spirit whom the father will send in my name. He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that. I said to you now y'all let's read off of the screens. Y'all read with me. Peace. I leave with you my peace. I give to you not as the world gives. Do I give to you do not let your heart be troubled nor let it be careful. Jesus is where peace is in Jesus. Jesus came and was born during this horrendous time is state of discourse. Once again, we see it is just built up and it's built up in the taxation is going and the people are still refusing to allow Christ to allow God to be the God of all their days. They're refusing to love Christ. He came as this baby at this very special time an appointed time. And he rolls and became older and he lived a Ministry of discipling others and he's walking along with the people of this world trying to give them. Hope trying to give them piece He restored sight. He healed the lame. He raised the den. He was with the broken hearted. Jesus is where peace is because they were under that Roman rule. Jesus is the answer to their peace.

The Jesus was only here for a. Of time. And then he went to be with heaven. As much as his disciples might have thought that this was a bad thing. I'm giving up everything there were a few men who chose to allow. Jesus to be there all shows were allowed to love and they left everything and after 3 years. He says I'm leaving you. I'm sure the unrest and no peace was in their line for the moment. They begin to rebuke Jesus, but he was telling them that someone was coming to be with them. That was a holy spirit third. Let me see that pieces with the Holy Spirit.

Christ couldn't stay she cries could be with one person at a time. He can maybe be with a group of people. But pieces with the holy spirit cuz he's with me. He's with you. He's with you. He's with you. So with you use with you. He's with each and everyone the power of the Holy Spirit of a born-again Believer. The spirit comes in and he comes in to dwell in you and he comes in to live with you if he comes in to teach you he comes to bring that piece. Because we're God is there's peace where Jesus is there's peace where the holy spirit is, there's pieced this Trinity works together the Elohim all three of them work and that's where the piece is. Why did the Holy Spirit need to come because even today we're still in a state of discourse. We're in that broken world. I'll be the first one to testify you. I need peace in my life. The cause of the world we live in we deal with the Brokenness but there are some that don't have Holy Spirit and they don't have hope and they don't have peace. They're looking for it. They're trying everything they can to get out of this broken world. Work Workaholics. I was injured I'm at work. I'm at work. I'm at work. I'm not going to think of anything if I work I can build up enough and I can go high enough up the chain of the ladder and I can work and I can work and I will find peace they work they work. They never find peace to know peace and work. some of them even try drugs Let me get a little marijuana to get a little heroin. I'll shoot it up. It'll remove all my problems. I can find peace there won't be anything a matter with me anymore. What do we know about heroin? Do we know about marijuana the other drugs after they become addictive? They become controlling and there's no peace cuz all life becomes is where is my next fix at where can I get the next to the what do I now I've lost my job cuz all I'm worried about is my next fix up again to steal end up in jail, and there's no peace there. There's no peace in the the life of drugs. You can begin to look at some people who have been on meth for any. Of time and they slowly begin to erode away in the face, you know the look on, it's it's a dead giveaway. They began to lose their teeth. They begin to have skin. Just hanging on Bones their skin changes color. There's no peace and drugs. Drugs become the king not King Jesus some say what if I can't do the work. I can't do the drugs. I'm going to try sex that will cure it all. 30 seconds of pleasure can cure it all knowing dozen. There's no peace in drugs. There's no peace in work. There's no peace and sex outside of marriage and some even go to the point of alcoholism. They turned it on alcohol the cover it up. He'll there's peace there when I'm drinking and there's no worries in the world.

You know as well as I do that that's baloney. There is no peace and alcohol. Once again, it becomes a master. You see they're all searching for something and many that do these they say, I don't want God because he wants to be my master. I don't want God cuz he wants to be my king is he wants to be the one to control me? So they try all these things and guess what? Those are their God those control them these things become your master everything you try in Earth to try to get out of the Brokenness and to get away from God is exactly what you say. You don't want him to be but pieces with the Holy Spirit when he comes in this piece is talkin about a state of Concord personal relationships when Holy Spirit comes in, Here at peace because you're one with the Creator God created you to love you. God created you to have a relationship with him. And without that there is no peace, but we can come and we can experience at peace you seek rights, as I said he had to leave because he knew there was one coming that can be with each of us.

Boss ask you to raise your hand how many of you would like Jesus to be right by your side every day to walk along with you say hey step here. Go ahead step here.

That might be an okay decision. But this decision over here is better. This is the plan I have for you. Most of us would raise our hand we would love to have Jesus walking right beside us. Guess what piece is the Holy Spirit? And as a born-again Believer, the holy spirit is in you God is walking with you everyday God. Is there through Holy Spirit and his word in that Holy Spirit. Is that little voice it says. Think about the other decision that one's better. The holy spirit says this is God's plan for you. If you'll just listen to me you can have peace. I'll guide you I'll be with you. So how do we do that? If we want peace then we must have loved Christ. You see the Holy Spirit brings us that ass look at. Galatians chapter 5 Verse 22 and 23

but the Fruit of the Spirit is love It's enjoy there's the word its. Peace. patience kindness is goodness is faithfulness gentleness self-control against such thing. There is no law the fruit of the spirit the evidence that the spirit is living in you are these things not only are they the evidence is so way that you're living here living in that piece and in that love and enjoy because you have kindness and goodness and faithfulness and gentleness and self-control. We see so many times in Scripture that God says to avoid things but here these wonderful things that the Holy Spirit brings. He says there is no law against these things all you want and I promise you Church the more you do them. The more piece you're going to experience the more that you allow Holy Spirit to live through you the grander. The piece will be if we want peace then we must love Christ. We started by me asking you where is peace? We've talked about the reason that piece was with God we've talked about the piece was with Jesus and peace was the Holy Spirit, but how do we find? Peace? But all of you love to know how he find peace this look back in John 14:23.

John 14:23 and I would like for y'all to read with me off of the screen so that we're all reading the same thing as Jesus answered and said to him if anyone loves me, he will keep my word and my father will love him and we will come to him and make our Abode with him. How do we find peace? Number one? We are to love Jesus. This love is more than just a feeling for one another this type of a Transcendent recipient a holy God and I have a special Devotion to him. This love is to accept him to believe on who he is. If we want peace then we are to love Jesus were to prise him. We are to be content. We are to be fond of doing Jesus where the price him. in your marriage or relationship, but you've been in You said you loved someone? Did you price them? Were they the one that your eyes were focused on what do we call it? When they're young? Oh, look at that puppy life and just see I'm all they do is they case I just look at each other. You can't get enough time. I remember being there and you pick up the phone and you would call and and I would talk and hours and hours ago by Mom and come when you going to get off the phone anytime soon 1 Hour 2 hours 3 hours. You remember you've been there? La Huerta love Jesus. He needs to be the one that we gaze upon he needs to be the one that we prize when you first start courting it and getting married what you can't wait to tell someone about your wife. I remember when Nicole and I first got married we had been married too long and and we went to the grocery store and she was on one side and I was on the other and I was pushing the buggy and I saw some are you doing I'm doing fine. What are you doing? I'm looking for my wife.

She's who I loved. She's who I prized. But you see more than that. Nicole knows that she's sucking in my life. Christ is first and I need to make sure that I'm loving him. You need to make sure that he's the one that you're prizing that you're content with him. Cuz she he's the one that was there during the creation. And also what does it tell us there but how to find love we are to keep his word to persistent in obedience observe fulfil pay attention to

I believe next to the birth of Christ being the greatest gift. anyone has ever given secondly is his word? God didn't have to give us his word god did not have to inspire men to write and to record all of this. But what is so precious here. It tells me who I love. It tells me who I prized. It tells me who I'm to be obedient to it helps as it feels in and gives a holy spirit away to the Rack in to leave me. We need to keep his word. We need to spend time in it. That's how we spend time with God and prayer and reading his word. Look at your day. Do you have time with it? If you don't have peace in your life, I can assure you. You're not spending time in God's word. I'm not saying every moment of your life is going to be happy. We're talking about peace apart from God and His word. There is no peace even in the difficult time in the storms when you are loving and you are focusing on God and you are praying and you are spending time loving him and keeping his word there is going to be a piece. It might be Rough Waters outside the waters might be coming over the boat and you just don't see how you're going to make the next moment. But yet you say there's a piece to me. That's the piece were talking about the piece that goes beyond everything else. But I love how that verse continues on there in John 14:23.

It says if anyone loves me, he will keep my words and then the peace comes because the father will love him the father's going to love you and you want to know where peace and all of this comes from when we do those things. How does that verse end? And we Jesus was speaking, but then he begins to talk about. We you see the trinity. And it says and we will come to him and make our Abode with him. How would we say earlier? We all one in Christ come along with this? Peace when we love Jesus and all that that encompasses more than knowing. When we allow him to be our prized when we keep his word, then God loves us and God comes and makes his Abode with us a state of remaining in an area. God is going to come and he's going to remain in Hugh. And you still remain in you and you and you remains and all of us that love him and allow him to come in. He wants to stay. He wants to Terry. He don't want to go anywhere. And trust me. where God is there is peace. See we all live in a broken World. God made it perfect. But because of this Brokenness is only one way out last through turning to Jesus. And he came down to die for us to pay a price that we could he stepped in our place and hung on the cross where we deserve to. And then he went into the tomb and three days later he arose. And if we call on him and bow before him as king and his Lord and receive him then we move on. to that perfect world Pastor that all sounds great

Why is it still broken all around me if I'm living in this perfect world? Yes, but you said God sends us back into the broken world. So that we can help bring light and shade the light for others.
